Poppo was a wonderful teacher and dear friend.  

    He inspired me with his incredible spirit and inner spark, the love he held for his family, and the tremendous hope that he breathed into all that were touched by him. He taught me to see the world with new eyes, and showed me how to discover the hidden treasures that lie within each of us. He never gave up and never once stopped believing in tomorrow.

  He always made me laugh.
